Teens' community hub

City Library has an extensive collection of teen titles and a dedicated space for teens to gather and study with friends or game together. Teen programming throughout the school year includes book club meetings, writing contests, creative expression and lots more.

Librarians are also available to help teens find resources for a school project or research question. Email info@nvcl.ca for help getting started.

The Language Lab

Welcome to The Language Lab, an inclusive program led by teens, for teens. Practise your English conversation skills and make new friends! Sign up for the winter term of weekly sessions Jan. 8 – March 12. Register.

Teen verified books!

Review your favourite books! Your books will get a “teen verified sticker” and your review will be added to the inside cover. Submit a review.

Teen book bundles

Take some time for yourself and enjoy some great books from the library. Fill out the book bundle form and we’ll put together a selection of books based on your preferences.

Collaboratory Club

Experiment with science and technology at our Collaboratory Club! Each week we'll spend time doing experiments or using Collaboratory technology. Extra time during this casual program will be spent playing iPad co-op games. View event in calendar.
