Join the CBC’s Margaret Gallagher for a literary conversation with acclaimed author Chelene Knight! Chelene will speak about her latest book Safekeeping: A Writer’s Guided Journal for Launching a Book with Love and will do readings from both Safekeeping and Let It Go: Free Yourself from Old Beliefs and Find a New Path to Joy.

Presenter bios:

Chelene Knight is the author of five books, including Safekeeping: A Writer’s Guided Journal for Launching a Book with Love (Anansi, 2025) and Let It Go: Free Yourself from Old Beliefs and Find a New Path to Joy (HarperCollins Canada, 2024). Her work has appeared in The Globe & Mail, The Walrus, and more. She founded Breathing Space Creative and the Thrive Coaching Program, helping creatives manage their energy and pursue their passions.

Margaret Gallagher hosts North by Northwest and has been with CBC for over 20 years, including roles on Hot Air, The Early Edition, and On the Coast. She’s also worked in the arts, as an editor, and taught technical communication. Margaret has received multiple awards, including the 2015 “Community Builder” Award and the 2020 Asian Heritage Month Pan Asian Recognition Award.
