As the weather slowly begins to warm again and plants start their yearly bloom, cozy up to a good book outdoors. Join this workshop to transform regionally invasive plants, harvested from local restoration sites, into a unique bookmark!

Using a base of recycled paper, participants will learn basic papermaking techniques while also diving into discussions about local ecology and the history of plants like English Ivy, Reed Canary Grass, Tansy, Buttercup.

The workshop is led by Joshua Ralph, creator of the Invasive Art Initiative

All ages are welcome, though children under 12 must be supervised by an adult.

Space is limited, so registration is required. Questions? Email info@nvcl.ca or call 604-998-3450.
