The sonnet, the haiku ... the picture book? In this hands-on workshop, Laura Farina, poet and picture book writer, will walk you through the conventions of the picture book, helping you find unexpected and delightful possibilities for your own work within the constraints of this form.

This workshop is presented by the North Shore Writers' Association.

Laura Farina is the author of the picture book This is the Path the Wolf Took. For over a decade, she has coordinated children’s literature events around the Lower Mainland, including TD Canadian Children’s Book Week and the popular parent and child book clubs at Christianne’s Lyceum of Literature and Art. Laura’s poetry has been published in two books, and numerous journals and anthologies. Her new poetry book, Behold!, is forthcoming from Coach House Press.
