Are you a childcare provider, or an early childhood educator, looking for new ways to incorporate stories and rhymes into your circle time? We are continuing our circle time tools workshop series, focusing on the importance of numeracy in a child's literacy development by making a fingerplay puppet. We'll make the classic puppet story, Five Green Speckled Frogs. We'll also discuss ways to incorporate numeracy into a circle or story time plan and the importance of building numeracy into your lessons.
This workshop is designed for those working in childcare centres or enrolled in an early childhood educator program. Note that we hosted the same program earlier in the year on Thursday, January 16.
