Library card
All library materials may be borrowed with a library card, except reference materials and home services audiobooks. Registration for a library card is free for City of North Vancouver, BC OneCard users and InterLink communities. Get a library card.
Borrow
Loan periods are 4 weeks for most materials, and 2 weeks for high-demand items such as DVDs and video games. Read about borrowing limits.
Return and renew
Return materials through the automated book drop. Renew materials by logging into our catalogue using your library code and PIN (last 4 digits of your phone number).
Loan periods and holds
NVCL does not charge fines on overdue materials. However, please note that we charge the replacement cost for lost items and long-overdue (6 weeks) items assumed to be lost.
There is no fee to place holds on titles in our catalogue. There is a $1 fee for holds that are not picked up and checked out.
This class will introduce you to Windows 11. We'll cover basic differences in layout and navigation, and offer some tips for personalizing your device. This is a hands-on workshop; bring your own laptop or use one of our laptops (limit of 12 computers).
Registration is recommended, but dropping in will be permitted if space allows. Each person must register individually.
