For Emergency Preparedness Week, join us for a session that will offer tips to help individuals, organizations, and neighbourhoods be more resilient in an earthquake or other emergency.
You’ll learn about potential hazards on the North Shore, what goes into making an emergency plan, and how to make an emergency kit or grab-and-go bag. The North Vancouver City Fire Department will also be on hand to discuss fire escape plans and fire safety in and around your home. You'll also get a chance to try out their virtual fire extinguisher.
Presented in partnership with North Shore Emergency Management and NVCFD. Registration is recommended, but dropping in may be allowed if space permits.
