Library closed Oct. 26 for planned power outage

The City Library building will be closed all day Saturday, Oct. 26, due to a planned BC Hydro power outage. We regret that many public services provided by the library will be unavailable that day. Regular operations are expected to resume Sunday, Oct. 27 at 1 p.m.
During the power outage, the following services will NOT be accessible:
- Automatic book return
- Please keep your materials until Sunday, Oct. 27 OR use the outside return box
- All room bookings
- Public computers & public Wi-Fi
- Exam invigilations
- TechConnect services
Additionally, public programs are CANCELLED:
- Paws for Stories
- Tech for Tots
- Learn the art of photo-embroidery
- Family gaming
Other North Shore libraries will be open for reading, studying, public printing and more:
- North Vancouver District Public Library: (most branches) 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- West Vancouver Memorial Library: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
