Join Swalklanexw (Dallas Guss) for a evening of Sḵwx̱wú7mesh language and culture. Attendees will learn about the tapestry of Sḵwx̱wú7mesh culture that has been influenced by the land and water and woven by many generations, and also learn words from Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Sníchim (Squamish Language).

Dallas Guss' ancestral name is Swalklanexw, and he is a member of the Sḵwx̱wú7mesh and Tsleil-Waututh First Nations. Dallas has worked in schools since 2016, supporting students, staff and communities (Indigenous and non-Indigenous) create a path of truth and reconciliation in B.C.'s education system. Through the Squamish language, storytelling and activities, Dallas helps build awareness and understanding on how to create a safe, inclusive and comfortable path for Indigenous culture, outreach and support.

All ages welcome. Registration is recommended, but drop-ins will be allowed if space permits.
