This 3-class introduction to yoga is designed to help you slow down and reconnect with your body. The class will focus on functional yoga with therapeutic movements for everyday life, and taking care of ourselves, mind, body, and spirit. All levels are welcome. 

The classes are on Thursday evenings from 6 - 7 p.m. (Oct. 3, 10, 17). Attendance at all 3 sessions isn't mandatory, but encouraged. You must register for each session individually (links to those pages are below under "Other Dates").  

Participants must bring their own mat or towel. A water bottle is recommended. 

The classes are led by Emily Thompson, Registered Yoga Teacher at The Woods Arts & Wellness. The Woods Arts & Wellness is a mental health organization based in North Vancouver that focuses on increasing personal and community well-being through engagement with nature and the arts. They offer 1:1 counselling and group programs in visual arts, music, nature, and body-based therapy with sliding scale payment options available. 

Space is limited, so registration is required.
